Villasimius is a well-known tourist town on the South-East coast of Sardinia. Appart-Hotel Residence is situated on the promenade which runs along the Campu Longu beach and is therefore conveniently located for both the coast and the town centre.

The area around Villasimius has been inhabited by man since before the Nuragic Age and still today boasts fascinating testimony to this rich past and the various populations who settled there throughout the centuries.

The area offers visitors the chance to admire marvellous examples of nuraghi, ancient settlements, menhirs, domus de janas (houses of the spirits), giants’ tombs and other fascinating finds exhibited at the Archaeological Museum.

The local festivals, such as the Madonna del Naufrago (Madonna of the Shipwreck), and the delicious local cuisine give visitors a taste of time-old, Sardinian traditions while they relax in this magical setting of enchanting beaches and unspoilt nature.

In the summer evenings the town’s main street is closed to traffic and becomes a busy pedestrian promenade where tourists can stroll around enjoying the many shops and bars. Next to the hotel there is also an 18-hole international golf course for sporting enthusiasts.
